The restrictions on your right to travel do not originate in Havana. They have been imposed by our own government and they apply to no other country in the world.
Bi-partisan groups in both the House and the Senate are working to end these restrictions and restore your right to travel. Many national and local grass-roots organizations are involved in these efforts. We urge you to become involved.
President Obama initiated what he termed a ‘new beginning’ in our relations with Cuba in April 2009. He eliminated most restrictions on travel by Cuban Americans to visit their relatives. But no further changes have taken place yet.

Marazul believes that all travel restrictions should be abolished and urges Congress to follow the President’s initiative by supporting House Bill HR4645, affirming our Constitutional right to travel freely. We urge you to sign the petition campaign organized by the Latin America Working Group (LAWG) and Change.org by clicking here.
This policy change would reflect the overwhelming desire of the U.S. people, including Cuban Americans, to finally end the travel ban. Instead of having our travel used as a foreign tool, the people of our country would finally be able to share ideas and experiences with the people of Cuba, a right that the rest of the world has enjoyed freely.
